A Peek into Christmas

This was our last Christmas as the three of us, and I was happy to soak up some time watching Brooks enjoy all the Christmas magic.  Christmas sure does take on a whole new feeling when you have little ones.  It's like you get to experience the magic in a whole new, fabulous way.  Our Christmas began the weekend before at my parents house:

Brooks and Maddox are two peas in a pod, and are always up to trouble :)

There are 4 boys in that tent!

The boys loved calling Santa that night!  It was so cute the way they gathered around the phone (except poor Braxton was sick).
We had an awesome Christmas low country boil!
Thanks Mom & Dad!

Brooks and I baked cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve!  This very pregnant momma even ignored the mess... for a little bit!

Christmas Eve:

Christmas morning with just the 3 of us, a very different experience considering we both have big families:

Brooks had some unsure moments (hence the salty face), but he was also overjoyed at times.  It was so heart warming to watch him!

Brooks loved watching the choo-choo train!  I'm sure he and Ramsey will enjoy that for years to come!

Brooks loved the dancing Mickey and his chairs and table!  You can see he made himself right at home like a true guy (sitting backwards)!

After our small Christmas morning, we headed over to Tim's parents house for a great big Christmas shin-dig!

Nick dressed up for the occasion :)

Brooks should have enough cars to last him... a month, thanks to his Papa!
What a day!  All tuckered out and ready for bed!  Not to mention he has to rest up because his little brother shows up in 2 days!
