2 Marvelous Months!

Eden Mae turned 2 months old on the 22nd and continues to grow like a weed. It never fails with each baby and each passing month we (parents in general) find ourselves commenting on how fast time has gone. This go round, I'm going to try and avoid that mindset. I am going to try and soak in every moment so that I'm not surprised when we turn the calendar each month.

This little beauty had her 2 month check-up on Friday and the doctor was so pleased with her growth and laid back personality. She couldn't believe how content she was and that all it took was a pacifier to calm her down (even after her first round of vaccines).

Weight: 42nd percentile (10 pounds 9 ounces)
Height: 44th percentile (22.3 inches)
Head: 29th percentile (38 cm)

I report this with a whole lot of trepidation, but our girl has started letting mommy get a little sleep. She has been waking up every 3 hours consistently until last week. Last week I got a 5 and 6 hour stretch out of her! And the night she got her shots she went 9 hours!! Since then she has given me at least 7 hours each night (I wish I could report that I was sleeping during that time too- but as irony would have it, RJ has been waking up each night).

And Brooks enjoyed Grandson campout with O'ma and O'pa (you have to be 3, so RJ missed it this year).

My girl is just starting to express herself with a smile... and it melts my heart every time! (Sometimes I wish I had a video of myself trying to get her to smile, I'm sure it would be pretty entertaining)!
