Is It Fall Yet?

Eden's BFF, Abigail, who lives next door and is in her class at school!

The finished product!  Well the screens weren't installed yet during this picture.  But they are now and we are enjoying it every night, especially now that the weather is cooling off!

Our girl is 5 months old!  She is rolling front to back and back to front!  She loves to smile and tries to sit up all the time, she will have abs of steel!  She will be getting her first try of some food this week.  I made some homemade applesauce from all the apples we picked at the orchard this weekend.

And the boys have been having a blast with her too!

A few pics from our trip to the orchard.  Ramsey loved riding on the tractor (or behind it) and has been talking about eating "apple picking" all week :)

Baptism and A Rite of Passae

Sweet E was baptized last week at a special ceremony with all of her family- September 17.  She was baptized at the new site for our future church building at St. Clare's. She was the next one in line to wear a very special gown that was originally worn by a relative in 1828!

Father Mark

Then Eden took her next Rite of Passage and we had her ears pierced.  In hindsight I am super gad I did it now because she does not even realize they are there.  She doesn't touch, no risk of infection from dirty fingers, and she won't know the difference.  Her godfather, Jimmy, even got her some diamonds for her baptism- spoiled baby!

4 Months for My Girl

Eden is officially 4 months old and I am trying to soak in as much baby as possible!  I miss her tremendously while I'm at work, but I love the weekends.  I just love snuggling a squishy baby, dressed in feety pajamas, and having a cup of coffee!  Makes mama's heart happy!

Eden is a healthy one!  Here are her 4 month stats:

Weight: 12lbs 12oz (29%)
Height: 24.5 in (58%)
Head: 40.5 cm (36%)

She had a round of shots and came out on the other end after a low grade fever and a nasty knot in her leg.

She has hit that "4 month sleep regression" and has woken in the middle of the night to eat a few times this week.  It makes me realize how blessed I am that she has been sleeping through the night for a few months.

Loving brothers:

In other news: soccer starts this week!  Brooks will practice every Thursday and have games every Saturday.

Also, our screened in porch will be finished in the next week!  Lots of pictures to come :)
