Our Loving Eden

I'm sitting here rocking my little one to sleep, and by the blessing of modern technology I can also blog about her sweet self. I am compelled to document her sweet heart so that I can forever remember these times (and look back at this post when she's a teenager)!  I have had 5 people tell me this week that she is the best cuddler!  And while I knew this, their comments brought it to my attention that I should cherish and savor the loving hugs. I especially relish in the way she always reaches  back to hold my hand while I'm giving her a bottle or rocking her. She finds such comfort in just the feel of my skin and I find such comfort in the kisses on her forehead.  She is 9 months old now and the time seems to be flying faster than ever! I think time also goes in hyper speed when you know this is your last baby (yes, I understand that God may have a different plan, but that's my plan). I just want to bottle up her baby self so that I don't forget, because let's be honest- the memories of those little baby giggles get lost in the world of temper tantrums, soccer practice, homework, etc. The girl loves to crawl and follows her mama everywhere. She also loves to chant "Mamama" constantly (and I love it). She is in to table food and eating is her favorite past time. She is starting to crawl up the stairs and is forever entertained by her brothers. In fact, Brooks was jumping up and down in front of her yesterday (and admittedly I was beginning to get annoyed and almost asked him to stop) when I realized she was in heaven! Her smile could not have been bigger and those giggles starting coming out! She just adores everything they do. And for your enjoyment that's me above on the left and Eden on the right. I think I was a little younger than she is in the picture. I love to see features we have in common!

Happy New Year

2017 has started off great! I finished up my specialist degree last month, so I am enjoying a bit more "down time." Although every mom knows there's no such thing as "down time." So far I have gotten a bit more organized with this: Spent a bit more time just staring at this: And enjoying this: And hanging with these Beauts: And loving on her: And observing these silly boys: And celebrating with these people: And playing with these guys: And sledding with the best: And seeing her first time in snow: And hoping to do more of this (working out): Cheers to big things in 2017!

Our Big Threenager

Ramsey turned 3 on the 27th and we celebrated with our family. I feel like I owe this boy an apology because his birthday falls right after Christmas, but what can you do? We try our best to make it super special! This year we had Dunkin Donuts for breakfast with special cousins. He chose dinner and helped me make the cake of his choosing. We went to Build-A-Bear the next day and had dinner at Taco Mac. It seemed very chill, but he loved it!  Happy birthday my cuddling, adventurous, well spoken, tantrum throwing son! I love you to the moon and back!

Christmas Memories

In an effort to document our lives without much time, here is the photo version of Christmas time.  We made great memories with our families, but missed our sweet Ada Ruth fighting RSV in the PICU 😔
